Round 2: Won't Stay Downby ~Gangst-ah-pimp

Steevi Didn't have to think. It was as if the attack was guiding her rather than the other way around.
Me First was a move she learned quite recently. It wasn't like she could see the future, or even anticipate what her opponent was going to do.
But, as Cordelia charged toward Steevi with curled fists, the lickitung mimicked the movements as if they were her own.
Both fists contacted their target, but it was more than a simple punch. The roselia needed physical contact to activate her Giga Drain.
The slapping noise of fist against flesh rung through the stadium, and the crowd was taken back by the spectacular show of lights.
Cordelia's slowed condition due to paralysis from an earlier lick attack granted Steevi the agility she needed to apply her newly aquired attack.
The young petite gym leader was successfully able to use Cordelia's move against her, and with twice the power.
The double-powered advantage of Me First was able to peel the hitpoints right out of the Roserade's skin.

I really love the way you rendered the effects in this entry, Pimp~ The glowiness is lovely, and their expressions and poses are excellent. I also love that you kept the stands in the background greyscale. It really helps the colours of the characters pop, and sets up a good relationship between the foreground and the background.

Ah this was such a good match up! I like the use of Me first, it is very interesting.

But wow this is just really great, good job pimp! The background is quite intense with the fancy stadium, you're pretty good I think at utilizing the perspective overall as well. I liked your last piece, but this one I think surpasses it! Once again, good job gym leader!
